• Australian International Three Day Event 2010: 12 - 14 Nov 2010

  Held annually in November, the Australian International Three Day Event is Australia's premier equestrian competition. It is the only CCI four star event held in Australia, the only one held in the Southern Hemisphere and one of only six held across the world. For the past ten years, Adelaide has been the chosen host city of this hallmark equestrian event. The AI3DE proudly takes its place alongside the other great international four star events, the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event in the United States, Burghley Horse Trials and Badminton Horse Trials in England, Luhmuhlen in Germany and Pau in France. The Adelaide event however is unique in the world, being the only one staged in the heart of a bustling city centre, taking place in the picturesque Adelaide Parklands.

• 2010 Carlton Midstrength Northern Territory Billfish Championship: 6 - 9 Nov 2010

  Exhaust yourself reeling in a giant sailfish. The Carlton Midstrength Northern Territory Billfish Championship, hosted by the Gove Game Fishing Club Inc, is the Territory's premier bluewater event. This tag-and-release comp is only for marlin and sailfish and is a keenly contested challenge. Competitors fh in pristine waters that saw sailfish and black marlin tagged when this event was last held. Fish can be caught within five miles of the export wharf, and there are great prizes and a great atmosphere among competing anglers. This is a team event with boat fishing only, charters can be organised, but you must book early.

  Now in its 13th year, Queenscliff Music Festival is one of Australia's great festival experiences for music lovers. • Sunseeker Australia Cup: 24 - 27 Nov 2010

  This event is conducted annually on Matilda Bay and City of Perth waters, Western Australia, in the lead up to the annual Monsoon Cup, the final deciding event of the World Match Racing Tour and provides premium match racing for the World's highest ranked competitors on the same class of yacht as those used in the Monsoon Cup. Matilda Bay and Perth Water offer sheltered waters, challenging conditions and are surrounded by river beaches in close proximity to Perth City, providing the perfect location for an international yachting event. As the Sunseeker Australia Cup will specifically target yachtsmen of the highest calibre including America's Cup crews with world class action for spectators to enjoy over four days. • Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival: 29 Oct - 21 Nov 2010

  The Mildura Jazz, Food and Wine Festival is a well established event that attracts many locals and visitors to the Mildura district. The Festival takes place as an annual Spring-time event, presenting four days of round the clock jazz entertainment in popular clubs, bars and cafes, restaurants, churches, as well as street side and riverside venues – with feature events utilising unique Murray River settings and all events showcasing regional food and wine. The Festival combines traditional Jazz and Swing with more contemporary and quirky sounds and caters to hardcore jazz enthusiasts and music lovers, not to mention those that just enjoy sitting back to the music, soaking in the ambience of one of Mildura's paddle steamers, riverside wineries and parks, taking in the gourmet food and locally produced wine. • Christmas Lights Spectacular at Hunter Valley Gardens: 11 Nov 2010 - 5 Jan 2011

  For the third year running, Hunter Valley Gardens is set to host the Christmas Lights Spectacular, Australia's biggest Christmas lights display. A wonderful experience for the whole family to enjoy, the Gardens will be alive with colour every night from Thursday 11 November. With exciting new displays of over a million lights, plus festive food, beverages, children's entertainment and of course Santa Claus, the Christmas Lights Spectacular is bound to capture the spirit of Christmas and create lasting memories for all. This year Hunter Valley Gardens has made several additions to the Christmas Lights Spectacular with enough net lights to cover a football oval and 19 kilometres of string lights. Other additions include scenes such as The North Pole, fountain firework lights, cherry blossom trees, a larger than life nativity scene and even a touch of Sydney thrown in with some famous landmarks recreated in lights.
  
  
  
  
  

• Sunshine Coast International Boat Show: 5-7 Nov 2010

  The annual, three day Sunshine Coast International Boat Show is on again. Held at Stockland Park, Kawana Waters on the Sunshine Coast this event is set to be even bigger than last year with a huge range of products and services for spending time on the water. The Sunshine Coast International Boat Show is supported by a large number of the region's best boating dealers, displaying hundreds of boats, water craft, fishing and boating accessories and services. Thousands of visitors return each year for a huge product range all in the one location making browsing and comparing products and prices easy before visitors make purchase decisions. The event will feature its own onsite food court, coffee shops, free entertainment and great prizes to be won over the weekend. This event is a great day out for the whole family. This hugely successful event is an excellent sales and marketing opportunity for businesses in and around the Sunshine Coast region and continues to grow year after year.
